i hafnt been updatin my blog... tryin to design a new one on my own! haha! mi paiseh mah... everytime is noormie help mi do one rite? so nw lookin ard n tryin to get "inspiration" to design a whole new blog~ got any suggestions?
tis week's my first week at work... its v different frm my previous comp, bt i guess itz a gd change... my role has changed... mornin i'll check the meetin rm, make sure tat there's enuff food in them, den check the dustbin, make sure its nt too full... den mi go n do my data entry, scannin, den wlk ovr to another bldg to hand in the policies... den i'll go for lunch(so borin...)
the more interestin part is when most of the consultants r back frm lunch... mi will ask if they wan coffee n i'll MAKE THE COFFEE FOR THEM! those who noe mi will go "OMG! APRIL MAKE COFFEE?! can drink one or nt?!" haha! yes... i make coffee... @*&%&#$
mi haf 3 phones at my desk... one is the desk bound phone, another is a cordless phone which i'll take ard the off when mi nt at my desk so mi dun hafta run to my desk everytime it rings... the 3rd one is for answerin the door whenever a client comes! when the client press the intercom, mi will ans n let them in usin a button on the phone... den mi will go to the front to greet them n show n seat them in one of the 3 meetin rms we haf den the respective reps will come out n mit them...
okie! too many things to update... tok bout my diet... mi signed up wif true yoga, in attempt to lose my fats tis thurs after goin to the free trial wif angeline on mon... however... on fri, rach, tricia, silvia, ade n mi went to dine at sakae... we ate ALOT! coz aft the dinner, we had cake in celebration of ade's bdae... *faints... so fattenin!! aft dinner, we(all bout rach) wanted to chill out at Living Room, but it was pretty full, so we head ovr to Hyatt's n chill there for bout 2hrs. mi had a non alcoholic drink, n the rest had alcohol...hehe mi dun wana go home drunk or wateva... we toked bout tricia's new protential bf n teased her terribly~wahaha
bout 11.30, mi left n waited for a cab where a tourist asked mi to help him book a cab... bt at tat time v diff to book one lor... bt mi tried aniwae... in the end, as i had told him, it's faster waitin for a cab at the stand~ mi dun realli wana tok to him, so mi sms master n ask him to call mi to tok cock~ hehe! he was supposed to wake up earli the nxt dae, so he was about to crash... bt he called mi aniwae~ we chatted n bullshitted n he suaned mi for bout 1/2hr den my cab arrived, so we hang up n he went back to slp... Wei wei called mi bout 5mins later ask mi if mi free on sat to play mahjong!! haha! didnt noe wei wei play mahjong one wor! aniwae mi gota reject her as mi miting fang & jess le... too bad...
sat we met up at bugis, mi reached at 2pm n after jalan awhile, we watched "40yr old virgin".. itz SO FUNIE!! haha! luffed frm the beginnin to the end! itz abit coarse though, wif the language n the *ahem* PORN CLIPS... yes... porn... they showed boobs, man lickin nipples, gal havin sex... tatz y itz M18... after tat we head ovr to suntec, jalan awhile n went ovr to fullerton to eat CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN! so sinful... so fattenin... bt hey, itz a once in awhile ting... christina oso joined us we enjoyed ourselves... they left for ktv after dinner(if u consider tat dinner) bout 11.15 n mi head home(as usual)

1st DaY oF NoT WoRKiN oFFiCiaLLY...
haha! 2dae is my 1st official dae of nt workin officially... sat doesnt count, coz mi was at HQ doin my gd byes... mi woke up at 8am n showered, coz mi goin to Providend to sign my employment letter den goin to Recruit Express to pay my fees... $52.50 by request of alyssa, bring exact! =/
woke 48 up at 9 n 9.10 coz he goin for his 2nd interview at Poh Heng... bt when mi woke him the 2nd time, it was rainin so heavily tat both of us ended up callin cab! hahaha! mi shld haf told him tat mi oso goin to raffles, den we can mit n go 2gether... when mi leavin the hse, as mi enterin my lift, alyssa called n sae tat the manager nt ard 2dae, so mi canot go n sign the employment letter... *sigh* so mi changed my destination n went to see alyssa to pass her the fee den walked to nth canal rd, poh heng bldg (mi took some time walkin ard n finally found the road when mi was about to gif up)
so heng, coz mi juz waited for 3mins outside the bldg den 48 came out le! hehe! we den walked back to raffles to take mrt to suntec n had our lunch there... we walked ard, actually wanted to go ktv, bt eric comin to pick us in 2hrs time, so we ended up lookin at vcds n playin in the arcade... den eric called again sae he gota go back to his office in boon lay den go to ubi b4 he can come n pick us, which will mean tat we gota wait for another 1hr! imagine tat! we could haf went to ktv! @*&*#(*$&@
we went to coffee bean to chill abit onli to find tat we fallin aslp sittin there, so went ovr to courts to walk walk, see see... when eric didnt manage to pick us, 48 told him tat jereme was on his way to his hse, so it'll be faster for him to go home by himself... so we took the train n went home... =)as mi typin, they shld be still playin mahjong at 48's...
tml mi goin to raffles to sign my employment letter (hopefully mi get to sign it tml...) den goin to bishan to watch "One More Chance" wif my parents at 1.30~ so long since mi watched movie wif them... n mi got my RETRENCHMENT COMPENSATION!!!!! YEAH~~

ReTReNCHeD... STaRT oF MY NeW LiFe~
lol finally mi retrenched! u may nt be able to understand y mi so happie... coz we've been waitin for the letter for quite some time nw... so when we finally got it ytdae (16 Sep '05) we're pretty happie... though it's sad to leave the people there...
mi got iris's sms 7am to get us to go to HQ for briefin, for obvious reasons... lianyi was oso told to cover our story! we went there juz waitin for him (the new ceo) to tell us tat we've been retrenched.. bt he dragged on n on n on... i tot he'll nvr get to the point... aft like 1hr of nonsense... he finally got to wat we r realli interested in! mi received a call frm Alyssa (my job agent) n she said tat Providenend realli like mi n wan to make a referral call to May, so mi confirmed her company's name n position (Luxasia, Product Manager) and went back to Cecil to pack up to leave BUT reporters r parked outside the HQ n were snappin our pics even b4 we had the chance to step out of the building! too bad dun haf back door... or else we sure leave frm there... itz juz so annoyin to be on the news for tis kinda stuff....
we called a cab to drive in n we left for cecil... mi packed up n handed ovr to ade (she's stayin, along wif rachel, tricia, grace n of coz iris) n called up 48, ask him if he wana come ovr n help mi lug my barangs home! hahaha! he did! so sweet... =p mi didnt join the rest for lunch as they were goin to VILLAGE again... i'm on diet leh! n abit sick of tat place le... for my compensation, mi receiving 1 1/2 mths wif tis mth's salary! wow~ aft droppin off my barangs at my place, we went to lunch at hougang pt, den hopped on a cab to his hse! he had 2 frenz (eric n jereme) to go ovr for a game of mahjong...
they played till 9+! it was pretty interestin to watch them play... it was durin tis time when mi received a call frm alyssa, callin mi to sae tat providend wans mi!! mon mi goin to sign the employment contract den go ovr to gif alyssa $52.50 for referral fee! YEAH! mi got JJ's autograph! n he signed off as To April Thanks a lot! Take Care *a cartoon face* SO HAPPIE! tat autograph made mi happie for the whole of dae!
went to Serene's weddin last Sat (10 Sept) wow... her weddin gown is SOOOOOO nice~~ she had a garden solemization n dinner at the ballroom of raffles hotel... n guess wat? when she threw her flowers, I caught it!! wif one hand... it was flyin straight at mi! so i shattered others' dreams n be the nxt to get married... who noes hw true it is... bt mi wana get married n stay happie...
was pretty impressed wif the whole weddin... onli tat our views were blocked by a deco when we were supposed to be watchin the screen... hehe! n we got serene n her hubby to do SUMTING... thnx to Jlo, we took out the petals of a rose n stuffed it in serene's low cut dress (mainly ard her boobs n got her hubby to get them all out usin his mouth... haha! can see serene there duno where to look n luffin paiseh!
